Now I take some time to dedicate to the one I believe it's the most skillful fighter within the Underground Empire Tube, the Imperial Ninja Oyobu!!!

As I mentioned above, in my personal opinion, Oyobu is the most skillful among the servant fighters Emperor Zeba has. Despite being the fastest, able to accompany a running car at high speed, he can launch fire from his hands, energize boomerangs and set them to chase his foes, and launch laser blasts from his antennas. Beyond all that, he can set fire to his own body, becoming a flying flame and attack his enemies while in the air.

It's worth recapping that he managed to escape the ice prison he stayed trapped for a while, somewhere no one was expected to escape ever. That drew Thief Knight Kiros's attention who believed he could melt the ice prison of his beloved Princess Ial (Yang in Brazil), but he refused it and explained Kiros that such an ability can be used exclusively for saving his life at desperate moments.

It was nice to see he denied help to his commander Baraba during his last fight against Red Mask. Tired of being punched and a mere servant not eligible for respect, he made up his mind to just observe the final combat of the last member of the Baluga tribe, like conveying the message "Be manly this time!!!" Nice attitude!!!

I reckon it's a pity that this character was not better exploited during the series. It's clear to me that his potential to lead combats, instead of Commander Baraba, is higher and more interesting, I appreciate more.

Pretty much as other villains, the series Maskman didn't exploit most of the characters properly, giving them finals which they didn't deserve and we would never expect it to be that easy. Oyobu was certainly one of them, proving his loyalty to Emperor Zeba to the very end, to someone who didn't seem to care any bit for him. In his shoes, would you sacrifice himself like that?

That's it, run Oyobu, run!!!
