Hey folks!

Brazil has not seen many Kamen Riders on TV. The number was too low, low enough that many people don't even realize that it refers to a franchise. The number was 2! That's it, 2 Kamen Rider series on our TV, and they were:

Kamen Rider Black & Kamen Rider Black RX!!!

RX was not successful over here, as opposed to its predecessor Black. Many Brazilians saw the former with the eyes of prejudice, some just telling "that's not like Black!"

Both series have certainly different atmospheres, Black is darker and more serious by comparison with RX, and this change in the plot did not please a lot of people here. Personal opinion, RX appeals more to me, a lot more powerful Rider, and with enemies to face that fact!

Even though those are the only 2 Riders to name here by the people who watched them in the initial 90s, the true fans scrutinize the internet in search of all other unknown riders, are familiar with them, both from Shōwa and Heisei eras.

Another curious fact was the adaptation of the name of the main character Kotaro Minami in the Brazilian dubbing, he was here named Isamu Minami.

Aside: The Masked Rider adaptation of Kamen Rider Black RX, produced by the American company Saban, was aired here too. Besides that, the Kamen Rider Dragon Knight by Saban was present too, here with the name Kamen Rider O Cavaleiro Dragão.
