Kamen Rider Kabuto Kamen Rider Kick Hopper

Kamen Riders Punch Hopper and Kick Hopper

17:26Toku Master

In my viewpoint, the magnificent series Kamen Rider Kabuto has exceeded the total number of Riders it can deal with. One Rider that demonstrates this is Kamen Rider Drake, it was clear to me that they didn't have enough space for him, no wonder that it simply disappeared in many episodes without explanation, returning also with no apparent reason, or maybe because they could not forget him for good. Ah, sure, another good reason for him to disappear frequently would be to leave its Zecter free for Kabuto to use in its Hyper Form. What's more, do you remember Drake's fate?

Well, let's now ask about these 2 Riders above, Punch Hopper and Kick Hopper. Why have they come to be in first place?

To begin with, we have no single indication that their Riders Systems were developed by Zect. Some Riders have the word Zect clearly displayed on their armor, but not these two.

Secondly, what is their purpose? What do they fight for, humanity or Zect? None of them?

Two wandering Riders that, on a whim, attacked Riders, and the same held true with Worms. They have the ideal of leaving in the darkness, but no clear definition of darkness is provided. There was a time Kick Hopper seemed to be about to fail its darkness ideal by falling in love, and the same lack of strength was demonstrated by Punch Hopper in other occasions, and they would always provide advice to each other on how to keep up with the path of darkness, something they were the only ones that hopefully knew what it was.

Despite I appreciate Kick Hopper's abilities, I think these 2 Riders are not needed in the series, they could've focused more on Drake and TheBee, which along Sasword, Gatack and Kabuto already make up a whole universe of Riders to work with.

Do you have any different opinion on this matter?

Cheers!!!
